It's episode 61 and the ghouls are off to New Orleans, LA! We'll be getting into a historical haunt and some firsthand accounts, but first we absolutely HAVE to discuss performative pigeon lovers and the feminist implications of horses. You didn't think the festivities were already over, did you? That's right- for the month of October we are covering towns that are famous for all things spooky! This week the ghouls are off to Salem, MA, to learn all about the witch trials and a divalicious cookie business owner. Then it's off to the Tannersville Inn in Tannersville, PA for a Haunt to Go! Is that chicken possessed, or is the foundational building of a town getting demolished for a Wawa? Let's find out!

Happy October everyone! Not only is it the first day of the spookiest month of the year, it's also the ghouls' first ever guest episode!! The Roanoke Raven is a masked vigilante who protects the city of Roanoke, VA, inspiring everyone in the community to help wherever and however they can. And he's not a moment too soon, because this city is jam-packed with all sorts of phantoms, wraiths, and the Woo-Hoo guy. It's episode 59 and the ghouls are sailing into Chilmark, MA: where the X Files and Gilmore Girls collide. But first, big news- Al has a spinning wheel now, and she's ready to talk about it. Chilmark has a lovely assortment of ghosts, Dogmen, and UFOs for us to enjoy as we muse on Lex skipping a grade and Al's dream wedding. Once we find America's clitoris, it's off to the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio, TX! As if dealing with living guests wasn't hard enough, employees also have to handle a PDA heavy ghost couple. Grab a couple of your favorite flavor of croquettes and hear all about it!

It's episode 58 and the ghouls are off to Pinehurst, TX! It's a very pizza-forward episode- we have a cool local pizza restaurant, Pizza Hut reviews, and our ideas for German pizzeria names. After we dish about the local ghost stories, we get to hear from our good friend Rabbit again! Then it's off to the pecan fields of Roswell, NM, for a Haunt to Go! It turns out there's way more happening in Roswell than just UFOs- these orchards have plenty of ghosts and even a goat man?? It's a supreme pizza of paranormal baddies!

It's episode 57 and the ghouls are jetting off to Brasher Falls, NY! After crossing state lines to buy Pal's merch, we have some UFOs and cryptids to check out before reading about the Bigfoot/Dogman encounter of a lifetime. It's episode 56 and thankfully the ghouls have survived the rapture so they can head off to Gwinn, MI! This was a great episode to chat about Supergirl on, because Gwinn has feminist ice cream AND a ton of ghosts! Then it's off to the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center in Kansas City, MO, for a Haunt to Go! This tragic tale has resulted in regulation reform, time slips, and many, many reports of paranormal activity. Get your holy water vapes and come with us!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!! It's episode 55 and the ghouls are blowing out their birthday candles in Clay, KY! What are they hiding down there?! After dodging trucks and unearthing witches, the ghouls learn more about the town's namesake, Henry Clay and some of the scummy things he did. Not only did we find ghost stories, we found many tales of resistance from the people he enslaved. Then it's time for a Haunt to Go at the stone house at the Manassas National Battlefield Park in Manassas, VA! If that sounds familiar, it's because the ghouls accidentally drove through the park on our way to see Florence! There are as many ghosts in this house as there are rocks, and plenty of time slips too. What could be better for ringing in our first year than an episode jam-packed with ghouls and cauliflower wings?? Thanks for sticking with us!

Welcome to our semi-lost episode, Captain Kidd's ghost got mad that we were laughing at his plug and stopped the recording halfway through. Once we've finished crying about The Clone Wars, it's time to get into a Hudson Valley legend and a ridiculously problematic indie horror film! Then it's off to the Pied-du-Courant Prison in Montreal, Canada for a Haunt to Go! Al's trying her best with pronouncing French words, okay?! We CAN use the Knicks to segue into ghost stories, listen along so we can PROVE IT!!

It's episode 53 and the ghouls are off to Good Thunder, MN! After deciding which pop stars we would like to pet as if they were a dog, it's time to get into a spooky schoolhouse caper! Our stance is that people shouldn't go to jail for objectively funny crimes. We may not be anywhere near the Lakes, but we just couldn't leave Minnesota without reading a spooky account of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Then it's off to Bloods Point Cemetery in Flora, IL, for a Haunt to Go! We're pretty sure this is the first vanishing barn we've come across. Listen along to hear all about it!
